Who we are

Principle Kitchens and Carpentry Ltd (company number 13358953, registered office 56a The Ridgway, Brighton BN2 6PD) is responsible for the personal information described here. If you have any questions, emailpeter@principlekitchens.comor call 01273 541126.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we receive:

  • your name, phone number and email address
  • anything you tell us in your message, such as details of your home and project

If you call or email us instead, we receive the details you give us in that call or email.

Why we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit, and prepare a quote if you ask for one. Our legal basis is that you have asked us to take these steps before a possible contract with you.

We don't add you to mailing lists, and we don't sell or share your details for marketing.

Who handles it for us

We use a small number of trusted services to run this website and our email:

  • Web3Forms, which delivers contact form messages to our inbox
  • Google Workspace, which hosts our email
  • Vercel, which hosts this website

They only process your details on our behalf. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

Website statistics

We use Plausible Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't collect personal information, and doesn't track you across other websites. That's why this site has no cookie banner.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry doesn't lead to any work, we delete your details within 12 months. If we do work for you, we keep the records we need for the job, our guarantee and our accounts for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the information we hold about you
  • correct anything that's wrong
  • delete your information, or stop using it

Just email us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office atico.org.uk.
